It is the time of year when graduations, weddings and more occur.
Yet, what about those who never graduated high school, who are not yet married, who struggle to find a job, who are not parents, who don't get job promotions or special awards?
Maybe what culture values is not what really matters in the end. Who is really going to remember their 5th or 8th grade graduation? I don't. Is it that greeting card companies continue to capitalize on "holidays?"
My challenge to you is to celebrate someone in your life that may not get much recognition. Maybe it is a janitor, a worn out single mom, a lonely person, an elderly person.
I believe we are here to help each other and build each other up. Let's celebrate that.
